Attorney Nicole Anchondo helps individuals and businesses in El Paso handle the legal issues that can affect their contracts, operations, finances, and future plans. At Nava Law Texas, her practice focuses on civil and business law matters. She handles cases including contract disputes, contract review services, business sales and purchases, asset purchase agreements, demand letters, cease-and-desist letters, business litigation, and civil litigation.
Nicole’s background is especially valuable for clients who need legal advice that is both strategic and practical. Before joining Nava Law Texas, she served as a Staff Attorney at El Paso Electric Company, where she worked closely with the business development, supply chain, and treasury teams. In that role, she reviewed, negotiated, and enforced a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, master services agreements, construction and engineering contracts, confidentiality agreements, and financing agreements. She also managed litigation matters for the company, giving her firsthand experience with the legal risks businesses face in real-world operations.
Her litigation experience is equally strong. Nicole previously served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of El Paso, managing cases in state and federal court involving tort, contract, and other civil law matters. She also worked in private litigation roles, handling discovery, motions, mediations, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation. Earlier in her career, she served as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Felony Section of the 34th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the State of Texas in over 50 jury trials.
What sets Nicole apart is her ability to view a legal issue from both a business and a litigation perspective. She understands that a contract problem is rarely just about the document itself. It can affect money, operations, relationships, reputation, and long-term stability. Her goal is to help clients understand the risks, protect their interests, and choose the path that makes the most sense for their situation.
Whether a client needs a contract reviewed before signing, a demand letter sent, a cease and desist letter prepared, help with an asset purchase agreement, or representation in a business or civil dispute, Nicole brings clear communication, careful preparation, and a practical strategy to every matter.
